Rosé wine has been made for centuries in France, but since very recently, not much at all was encountered beyond the local regions of its production. These days, however, Rosé is perhaps the single hottest global trend in wine. All around the world, Rosé wines are coveted for their ability to taste good in any weather, to pair well with virtually any food, and for their ability to appeal to both red and white wine drinkers alike. California, however, brings something unique to the pink party. A mix of Golden State sunshine, Pacific ocean breezes and deep, sandy soils gives this tantalizing pink wine an unmistakably California character - laid back, at ease and, most importantly, fun!
With its abundant fresh fruit character and luscious texture, Snow Much Fun delivers you a taste of warm California sunshine on even the coldest of winter days. Raspberry, strawberry and citrus hints flood the palate of this luscious, evocative wine.
Our criteria for an exceptional Rosé is a vibrant, fresh fruit character that is balanced by the zippy zing of acidity, with enough flavor concentration to grab your attention while never seeming heavy or tiring. That word there, “balance”, is the key. No one component should dominate any other – fruit and mineral, sweet and savory – everything must be in the right proportion. Snow Much Fun relies on the best of California winemaking know-how to produce a classic style of Rosé – elegant, refined and, yes, balanced.
Our California Rosé displays the soul of a berry fruit basket eaten on a bluff overlooking the sea, and no surprise then that ripe, fresh berries make a perfect pairing. Anything Thai food works great too, especially Pad Thai.
