Our winemaking team is given access to raw materials that many dream of  – access to some of the finest Cabernet grapes from Central California. Coupled with their decades of experience, a majestic blend is created.  Sip’n With Blitzen is a California cab lover’s delight, and a true representation of the power of the wine blend.

 

The aromas and flavors of Sip’n With Blitzen range from dark fruits to kitchen spices, with a smoky, meaty undercurrent. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is ripe with fresh red cherries, blackberries, clove and mint notes.

Dating back hundreds of years to the arrival of missionaries, with their vine cuttings, the sun-kissed inland valleys of Central California were among the first regions identified as having the potential to produce world-class wine. Fast forward to today, this potential has been realized, with an incredible diversity of fine wine producing vineyards. Adventurous growers have planted Cabernet Sauvignon vines in some of the best locations in the region, where the grapes profit from the access to sunshine and cooling ocean breezes. What makes a Central Cali cab special is its balance of sweet fruit and savory elements, along with mineral notes - all found in this special bottle of Sip’n With Blitzen, which we are proud to share with you.

 

Sip’n With Blitzen works very well when paired with strongly flavored food. We suggest a smoky chili con carne or perhaps barbecued lamb steaks with rosemary, or how about a nice hunk of Gorgonzola cheese?
