The warm, gently cascading hillsides surrounding the Wahluke Valley are some of the most coveted land in all of Washington State for the cultivation of Bordeaux grape varieties. The Jingle & Mingle team has been working with this prized fruit for decades, harnessing its ability to consistently produce fleshy, intense and concentrated wines. This blockbuster Washington Cabernet is sourced from vineyards that are a short distance from the Columbia River, benefitting greatly from its cooling breezes, allowing the vines extra time for ripening by extending the growing season. Wahluke Valley - it's Waht's up!

WINEmaker notes
Multiple passes are taken in the vineyard to bring only the most perfectly ripe fruit into the winery. Jingle & Mingle is de-stemmed and allowed to rest peacefully in French oak until deemed ready to bottle by our experienced winemaking team. This Wahluke Valley Cabernet is textbook Washington Terroir, displaying an exotic dark fruit character that hints at currants, marion berries and vanilla, along with notes of chocolate and molasses. The sparse, sandy geology forces the Cabernet roots to penetrate deep into the soil to look for water, and this struggle is reflected in the finished wine's electric, vivid fruit character.

food pairings
Pepperoni and sausage pizza, carnitas street tacos, hearty polenta with roasted vegetables, chocolate cake.
